This is our Fourth year to feature a Civil War Enactment. The battle will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Recreation Center, Alma. Soldiers from all over the South will take part in this event. They will fire cannons (including special night time firing), muskets and fire arms. Before and after the battle, you can walk through their camp sites and learn how the soldiers lived. They will demonstrate clothing, eating, and preparing for battles. The guys and often girls enjoy sharing the history of the times.
